Students range in age from 3 to 11 years old. The students learn stories of Jesus’s life and how we can relate to them as well as apply them to our lives today. We watch videos, read Bible stories, perform skits, and do arts and crafts. We pray that God will use us as examples to others in our daily lives.
At this age, the students are involved in confirmation classes with the Pastor. They also attend Sunday School classes to receive additional information on the broad scope of the Christian/Lutheran religion. These areas relate to and reinforce the confirmation procedure along with the use of the Bible and other resources. All participants are trained and perform acolyte responsibilities during the service. The ultimate goal is to create a place where they can seek answers to issues they are uncertain of while moving forward into becoming a full member of the church and a citizen of society.
